By continuing to use the site, you agree to our use of essential cookies; optional analytics cookies are used where configured and permitted.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels used by analytics or messaging SDKs. They help the site remember sessions, keep you signed in, secure forms, and understand aggregate traffic.

2. Types we use

Strictly necessary

Required for authentication, CSRF/security protections, load balancing, and remembering essential preferences such as theme. The Service cannot function correctly without these.

Functional

May remember UI choices (for example cart state in local storage) so browsing feels continuous across pages.

Analytics

If Google Analytics or similar tools are enabled via environment configuration, they collect aggregated usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) to improve the product. These may set first-party or third-party cookies depending on the vendor.

Messaging

If you allow browser push notifications, Firebase or similar services may store tokens and related identifiers to deliver messages you opted into.

3. Why we need them on a marketplace

Bobo Marketplace is an authenticated product: creators upload files, buyers check out with Razorpay, and Premium members unlock subscription downloads. Without session and security cookies, we cannot keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, or match a completed payment to the correct account entitlement. Functional storage (for example remembering cart or filter state) reduces friction while browsing Free, Premium, and Exclusive listings.

We do not use cookies to sell personal profiles to data brokers. Any analytics cookies are aimed at understanding which pages and assets perform well so we can improve search, licensing guides, and reliability—not to build advertising audiences for unrelated third-party products.

4. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, or downloads. You can also use browser private mode, which typically clears session cookies when the window closes. Opt out of analytics where your browser or vendor tools provide that control. On shared devices, sign out after use and clear site data if you do not want the next user to inherit your session.

5. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser or after a short period. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Auth session lifetime follows our authentication configuration and security needs. Analytics retention follows the vendor’s configuration and our Privacy Policy. Payment processors retain their own cookie data under their policies when you complete checkout.

6. Updates and contact

7. Third-party cookies

Payment checkouts open on or embed processor interfaces (Razorpay) that set their own cookies subject to those companies’ policies. Social login with Google may set Google cookies during the OAuth flow. We do not control those third-party cookies; review their documentation if you want to limit them. CDN, hosting, and security vendors may also set cookies needed to deliver pages reliably and to mitigate abuse.

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to DNT. We treat essential cookies as always on for security and session continuity, and we limit optional analytics to what is configured for the deployment.
